Christmas Eve Festivities

Today is Christmas Eve.  We had a fun afternoon making lots of goodies, especially sugar cookies for Santa.  Grandpa and Grandma Powell came up from Colorado Springs to spend the day with us and we have had a great time with them.

Making sugar cookies with Grandma
Ellie's Sugar Cookie.  She was adding more and more frosting and sprinkles each time we looked at her!  Every time we looked at Jacob he was licking his frosting from every surface possible.
The kids in their new Grandma Luke Pajama's.  They have been excited for weeks to open them up.  They were thrilled with them and couldn't wait to put them on.

Super cute kiddos in their new warm pajamas.  They are so excited for Santa to come tonight!  Hannah also got reindeer food from school and made sure to sprinkle it on the grass outside this afternoon.

NAKED!

Miss Ellie LOVES being naked!  This is how I found her this morning... everything was thrown out of her bed and she was just thrilled to be in her birthday suit!  She was jumping and playing around like she was the queen of the world.

 JUMPING!!!

Popcorn Balls!

Today Jacob and I started making popcorn balls for Christmas.  I am excited to share them with my family, who I know love them!  Jacob helped me sift the seeds out of the popcorn and then after I added the syrup he helped me bag the balls.  He did a great job and I was so glad for the extra help!  They taste just like Grandpa Owen's popcorn balls even though we made them blue.

Enjoying the fruits of his labors!

Christmas at Preschool

It was my turn to teach our co-op preschool today.  Hannah got to join in the fun since she doesn't have school.  We only had Avery Crawford & Crew McDowell join us, but we had a great time decorating Christmas trees out of ice cream cones, green frosting, and candy.  There was much consumption of treats and maybe a little decorating to go along with it.

Silly faces... notice Jacob giving himself bunny ears.
