Time for a New Blog

Well friends, it's that time of year again to change to a new blog.  Here is the link:

Here's wishing you a Happy New Year!

New Year's Eve

It is amazing that we have come to the end of another year!  Time seems to go by faster and faster every year.  We went to the library this morning to pick up a few books and then around lunch time today the van died when I went to fill it up with gas.  It wouldn't start up and luckily there were a couple of people there who were willing to help us get started again.   We got it up and running again and went to Wal-mart to get a new battery and some jumper cables.  I have needed a set of my own for a long time.  So after TWO HOURS of waiting with 3 kiddos who were tired, bored, and had to go potty and get diapers changed, we finally headed off to the library again for their New Year's Celebration.  They had dancing, crafts, snacks, and face painting.  The kids had a great time and they each loved their face paintings and were sad when they had to wash them off tonight.  For our party tonight watched "What About Bob," ate Root Beer Floats and popcorn and we even let the kids stay up until 10!  We had a fun last day of 2012!

Ellie held super still while getting her face painted.  It was really cute!

Eating Root Beer Floats...YUM!

Jacob had to finish his dinner before he could eat his Root Beer float... it was certainly a good incentive!

Making Faces

It is winter break and this is what we do to entertain ourselves while we are on break from all of our activities... make faces!

Jacob was playing with Ellie's new blocks and made this car/tower.  He wanted me to take a picture of it rolling.

Hannah was trying to make a picture to send to her friend, Abby Redfearn.

She ended up attaching a picture of Jacob and I to her note!

Later this evening the kids were getting ready for bed and I found them reading books together.  I am so glad that Hannah is big enough to read to the little ones now!
