Hello Kitty Birthday Celebration

Today we celebrated Hannah's 7th Birthday.  I surprised her with a Hello Kitty birthday cake.  It was pretty fun to watch her face light up when she saw it.  It made staying up late to finish it totally worth it!

This evening for dinner Hannah requested lasagna.  After wards we had cake and ice cream and presents.  Hannah received some instruction coloring books, stamp sets, and her own ream of paper.  She is excited to start creating!  Hannah also received money from Grandpa's and Grandma's that we will spend for her soon.  Happy Birthday Hannah!

Happy 7th Birthday Hannah!

Today is Hannah's 7th Birthday!!!  We are so proud of her and the big girl that she is becoming.  Hannah is loving 1st grade.  She is reading like a pro and getting really good at lots of things (like monkey bars!).  Today Hannah woke up to a balloon-filled door.  She and I also went for pedicures this afternoon (her first one!) and then went to a friend's baptism (Kyle Smith).  Afterwards we picked up Darby and her mom Adrienne Allison and went to dinner at McDonald's and to see a movie, Hotel Transylvania.  Hannah felt very special today and we were thrilled to help her feel that way.  We love you Hannah!  Happy 7th Birthday!!!

Hannah's School Birthday Celebration

Today I was able to go to Hannah's school class and participate in her birthday celebration.  I brought cupcakes and watched as her class sang Happy Birthday to her.  Hannah enjoyed handing out the cupcakes that I brought and having her class sing to her.

 Hannah got to choose two friends from her class to take a picture with.  She chose Claire and Madeline.

Sister Time

Today after school Hannah came home and started playing with Miss Ellie.  Ellie LOVES being read to and Hannah is discovering that she LOVES to read!  Ellie also LOVES it when Hannah comes home from school and plays with her.  I have such a fun relationship with my own sister and I am excited to see what is developing between my own girls.

Playing in Poop

Ellie's new favorite activity is playing in her poop.  We have lost count of how many times she has done it.  Tonight was the cherry on top.  Brent and I were sitting, watching TV, and looked over to see Ellie digging in her diaper and wiping it on the treadmill.  As you can see, she was pretty proud of herself.  I think I am going to buy some onesies to see if that will be a good preventer for her.  Stinker... literally!

Crazy Day

Today was crazy day at school.  Hannah had a great time creating a VERY mis-matching outfit and we did some crazy hair with mis-matching hair accessories.  

  

This One is Going to Scar

Ellie was at a friend's house yesterday while I was running errands and decided to get another bonk.  She had climbed up to the top bunk on their bunk beds and her hands slipped and she face planted the bar on the bed.  We went to the doctor today and she said that there was not much that we could do since it was all ready scabbing.  She is going to have a scar that will probably last her entire life.  At least she will have some proof of all of her crazy adventures!
